Position Overview

The Global Markets division at Bank of America provides comprehensive sales and trading solutions, including research services, to institutional clients across various sectors such as fixed income, credit, currency, commodities, and equities. Our offerings encompass both securities and derivative products available in primary and secondary markets.

As a Summer Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Evaluating and recommending deal structures, drafting term sheets, and engaging in document negotiations.
  • Creating offering memorandums, marketing collateral, pitches, and presentations.
  • Conducting financial statement evaluations, covenant assessments, and financial modeling.
  • Collaborating with potential investors to facilitate their due diligence processes.
  • Preparing comparative analyses, fee documentation, and various internal reports.
  • Assisting senior colleagues in structuring, syndication, and distribution efforts while interacting with issuer and investor clients.
  • Helping coordinate and initiate syndicated transactions.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with expected graduation between December 2025 and June 2026.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.2 is preferred.
  • Demonstrated academic excellence, quantitative proficiency, strategic and creative problem-solving abilities, along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional analytical and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Desirable traits include integrity, meticulous attention to detail, assertiveness, initiative, leadership qualities, a strong work ethic, and a focus on teamwork.
  • A keen interest in pursuing a career within the real estate sector.
  • Preferred background in real estate, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
