Executive Pastry Chef

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Pastry Chef to join our team at The Greenbrier Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the pastry department and ensuring the highest quality of pastries and desserts.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the pastry department and oversee the production of pastries and desserts
- Develop and implement new recipes and menu items
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
- Train and supervise pastry team members
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a pastry chef in a high-volume hotel or restaurant
- Proven track record of leading a pastry team and achieving high-quality results
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree preferred
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with frequent standing, walking, and lifting
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to work in a hot kitchen environment
