Position Title: Operations Assistant - ON SITE

Location: Bolingbrook, IL

Contract Duration: 6 Months+

Compensation: $20/hr

Work Schedule: 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, between 6am and 5pm

WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
  • Standard office responsibilities.
  • Physical capability to support warehouse activities.
  • Regularly requires walking, reaching with hands and arms, standing for a minimum of 6-8 hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently requires bending, kneeling, and crouching.
  • Occasionally requires climbing ladders and maintaining balance.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE:
  • Highly adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks effectively with little or no oversight.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities: capable of prioritizing tasks sensibly and effectively. Maintains a positive attitude and composure under pressure. Accurate, organized, punctual, and responsible.
  • Comfortable with new technologies and digital tools, including applications, databases, financial management systems, work order management, and mobile technologies.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in office support or customer service is required.

Preferred Computer Skills:
Proficiency in Windows – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Visio is required (2 years preferred).

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Ability to assist with conference room setup and cleanup, including managing the conference room schedule and providing meeting support is required.
  • Physical capability to assist with warehouse operations is required.
  • Regularly requires walking, reaching with hands and arms, standing for a minimum of 6-8 hours, and lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • At least 2 years of experience in office services, hospitality, workplace programs, space or floor planning analysis, facilities management, or site management for a large organization.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
