Position Overview:
Colwen Hotels is on the lookout for a dedicated and meticulous Night Auditor to enhance our team. This overnight role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate reconciliation of hotel transactions and the seamless closure of daily operations. The ideal candidate will be responsive to guest inquiries and maintain the front desk's cleanliness and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage front desk operations, assisting guests with inquiries and needs throughout their stay.
  • Conduct end-of-day procedures, including posting charges, balancing accounts, and performing night audits.
  • Deliver outstanding guest service and ensure timely check-in and check-out processes.
  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally, confirming reservations and assigning rooms.
  • Address guest requests with professionalism and urgency, ensuring all complaints are resolved effectively.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel policies, local attractions, and community events.
  • Ensure accurate billing and delivery of invoices to guests.
  • Handle confidential guest information discreetly and responsibly.
  • Keep the lobby and shared areas tidy and organized.
  • Adhere to all company and brand standards, maintaining strict key control.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one year of relevant experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with the local area and ability to provide directions to attractions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common software applications.
  • Ability to learn new software programs and operate property management systems.
  • Willingness to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays.
