POSITION SUMMARY: We are in search of a Treasury Accounting Specialist to support various cash management, disbursement, and accounting functions, including month-end closing and financial reporting. This role will report directly to the Senior Manager of Credit, Collections, and Accounts Receivable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure timely and precise reporting of daily cash positions for all company entities
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation across treasury functions
  • Prepare daily cash statements and bi-weekly cash flow projections
  • Manage authorized wire requests and execute wire transfers in both domestic and international currencies
  • Record wire payments in the general ledger efficiently
  • Draft journal entries for bank transfers and other transactions for review
  • Conduct bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Handle petty cash requests and maintain accurate records of transactions
  • Assist management with audit inquiries as necessary
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or finance is preferred; an Associate's degree in finance or accounting is desirable.
  • 5 or more years of experience in Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable with a High School diploma will be considered.
  • Experience in an accounting department within a large organization is strongly preferred.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Proficient in Excel with strong analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft GP is highly advantageous
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing situations
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
