Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Client Services: Oversee all elements of the client service model, working closely with the Account Manager and Analyst.
  • Strategic Consultation: Offer expert advice in strategic planning, including the assessment and recommendations for modifications to coverage plans.
  • Client Lifecycle Management: Ensure proactive planning and timely execution of all client deliverables.
  • Presentation Preparation: Collaborate with the Account Manager and Analyst to create compelling client presentations.
  • Client Communication: Act as the primary contact for escalated client inquiries, particularly for C-Suite executives.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure clients meet compliance requirements and deadlines, including presenting findings and recommendations.
  • Carrier Negotiations: Manage renewal processes and marketing outcomes with insurance carriers.
  • Financial Analysis: Develop financial models and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Cross-Selling Coordination: Work with team members to identify and introduce cross-selling opportunities aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Mentorship: Support the professional development of Analysts and Account Managers.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct quality reviews of work produced by team members.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay informed on industry trends, product developments, and competitive market conditions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or relevant experience.
  • 3 - 5 years of professional experience in employee benefits and policies.
  • Proven ability to manage a portfolio of accounts with over 100 lives.
  • Experience in designing and managing health and welfare plans within a consulting or brokerage context.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • State Life and Health license required within 90 days of employment.
