The Customer Service Team exemplifies MCC's commitment to exceptional service by delivering precise, clear, and timely information regarding customer orders and shipments. This role necessitates a thorough understanding of our clients and the products we create for them. Success in this position will stem from analytical thinking, proficiency in MCC's business systems, and outstanding communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver World-Class Customer Service
    • Take ownership of customer inquiries by providing accurate and timely information regarding received orders.
    • Oversee the customer order process from entry to shipment through consistent and precise communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
    • Investigate customer concerns and delve into the underlying needs beyond initial expressions.
    • Communicate effectively and take prompt action to consistently surpass customer expectations, ensuring accessibility to information and resolution assistance.
    • Commit to enhancing knowledge of MCC's products, services, and solutions.
    • Collaborate effectively within the plant.
    • Work cooperatively across diverse departments and groups to achieve plant objectives, demonstrating a team-oriented approach by assisting colleagues as needed.
    • Exhibit understanding and appreciation of differing perspectives on issues and adapt approaches as situations evolve.
  • Engage in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service by meeting the following Key Performance Indicators:
    • Order and release accuracy
    • Volume of orders and releases processed
    • Timeliness of order and release entries

Qualifications:

  • A four-year college degree; or two to four years of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Business Operating Systems; proficiency in Internet software, Microsoft Word, and Excel.

Additional Considerations:

  • The employee may occasionally need to bend, stoop, lift, and/or move up to 35 pounds.
