We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Acra Lending in Clearwater, FL. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing and executing a plan to bring in new business, maintaining an active sales pipeline, and ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Execute a Prospecting Plan: Create and implement a strategy to identify and pursue new business opportunities, including developing relationships with mortgage brokers and other industry professionals.
- Maintain an Active Sales Pipeline: Continuously update and manage the sales pipeline to ensure all leads are being pursued and closed in a timely manner.
- Ensure Accurate Documentation: Verify that all documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner for all broker and loan approvals.
- Develop Subject Matter Expertise: Stay up-to-date on all Acra Lending products and programs, as well as basic eligibility parameters and pricing.
- Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by management.
- Education: Four-year Bachelor degree from an accredited institution with a focus on finance, real estate, marketing, sales, or equivalent.
- Experience: Sales experience is required, with mortgage experience strongly preferred.
- Skills: Knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office products, web search via popular search engines, and an aggressive, go-getter attitude.
- Credentials: Current and non-restricted driver's license and adequate car insurance.
The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods, move about the office, reach with arms and grasp with hands, perform tasks using a computer and peripherals, hear, talk, read, and write.
Vision RequirementsThe employee is occasionally required to lift up to 25 pounds and have close vision for computer monitor and paperwork.
