Job Title: Document and File Management Specialist

Singerman, Mills, Desberg & Kauntz Co., L.P.A. is a dynamic transactional boutique law firm seeking an experienced candidate to join our team as a Document and File Management Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transition all paper files to electronic files in our document management system.
  • Onboard all new clients, including conflict checks, setup in accounting software, and creation of electronic case files.
  • Close all client files when representation has ended and ensure all records are in the document management system.
  • Clean and close old files in offsite storage, main file room, auxiliary files rooms, and attorney offices.

Requirements:

  • Advanced technological skills, including familiarity with document management systems and scanning.
  • Ability to routinely lift and move heavy boxes.
  • Prior law firm or document management system experience is a plus.
