Job Summary:

The Engineering Coordinator Position provides essential administrative and communications support to members of the Engineering Department at Great Wolf Lodge. This role is responsible for maintaining various software systems, managing the flow of information with contractors, planning & scheduling of departmental activities, inventory control, and serving as the main point of contact for communication within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain software systems, including HotSOS and other Great Wolf systems, to ensure efficient operations.
  • Assign and track all preventative maintenance activities using software to ensure timely completion.
  • Manage Unifocus payroll and scheduling to ensure accurate and timely payment.
  • Order, receive, stock, and set up new vendors in systems, including Coupa, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Research costs and ensure availability of parts, materials, and tools to support departmental activities.
  • Enter data for Engineering Scorecard and other departmental information to provide insights for improvement.
  • Schedule and coordinate outside contractor support to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Perform basic maintenance service calls, including troubleshooting television and HVAC issues, changing light bulbs, batteries, and making repairs when possible.
  • Assist with Water Park shut-downs, including cleaning and painting, to ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite to support departmental activities.
  • Provide strong oral communication skills in person, via phone, and handle conflict resolution in a positive and friendly manner.

  • Prior experience with computers, data entry, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands.
