As an Accounting Clerk at Hall Park Hotel, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of our hotel and restaurant operations. Your responsibilities will include assisting the Controller with month-end closing procedures, financial statements, budgeting, and cash forecasting. You will also be the point of contact between different departments, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgeting, and cash forecasting.
  • Act as a liaison between different departments and external parties.
  • Perform daily bank deposits, maintain house banks and petty cash funds, and verify postings and night audit reports.
  • Ensure compliance with Company internal controls, state, and federal laws.
  • Work with the Controller to implement and improve accounting processes.
  • Assist in annual budget process, tax preparation, audits, and identifying discrepancies.

Requirements:

  • Previous accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience in bookkeeping required.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, time management, problem-solving, and math skills.
  • Computer literate with the ability to type and learn accounting, POS, and PMS programs.
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
