As a Principal Product Manager focusing on our Platform Strategy and Integration Experiences, you will play a pivotal role in enabling our customers to achieve their best work across various tools, including both Atlassian products and external applications. You will also simplify the installation, configuration, and maintenance processes for administrators.

This position is open to candidates located in Australia, New Zealand, or the West Coast of the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in product and platform management to explore complex and ambiguous issues, identify opportunities, and address significant challenges.
  • Engage directly with Enterprise clients to grasp their requirements and develop relevant use cases.
  • Collaborate with internal product managers and teams to gather customer insights and pain points.
  • Articulate broad visions, integrating market and customer needs into cohesive narratives, and drive execution across Atlassian.
  • Influence and coordinate efforts across the organization, from clients to developers and senior leadership.
  • Investigate intricate problems and use cases related to automation platforms, integrations, and analytics.

You will report to the Head of Product.

Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management.
  • A background in developing platform strategies and direct engagement with customers in a B2B Enterprise SaaS context.
  • Consulting experience that involves direct customer interaction and translating requirements into actionable use cases and strategies.
  • Extensive experience in product management, particularly in building integrations for large-scale platforms.
  • A proven track record of defining and executing complex platform strategies that deliver business and customer value.
  • The ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze complex issues, prioritizing business and customer needs effectively.
  • A capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment where tasks and topics vary, requiring quick learning and adaptability.
  • A commitment to enhancing product quality and promoting best practices throughout the organization.
