As a Principal Product Manager focusing on our Platform Strategy and Integration Experiences, your role will be pivotal in enabling our customers to maximize their productivity across all tools, including both Atlassian products and third-party applications. You will also simplify the installation, configuration, and maintenance processes for administrators.

This position is open to candidates located in Australia, New Zealand, or the West Coast of the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize your expertise in product and platform management to explore complex and ambiguous challenges, identify opportunities, and address significant issues.
  • Engage directly with Enterprise clients to comprehend their requirements and develop relevant use cases.
  • Collaborate with internal product managers and teams to gather customer insights and pain points.
  • Articulate ambitious visions, integrate market and customer insights into cohesive narratives, and coordinate efforts across Atlassian to achieve objectives.
  • Influence and collaborate across the organization, engaging with customers, developers, and senior leadership.
  • Investigate intricate issues and use cases related to automation platforms, integrations, and analytics.

You will report to the Head of Product.

Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management.
  • A background in developing platform strategies and direct engagement with customers in a B2B Enterprise SaaS context.
  • Consulting experience that involves direct customer interaction and translating requirements into actionable use cases and strategies.
  • Extensive experience in product management, particularly in building integrations for large-scale platforms.
  • A proven track record of defining and executing complex platform strategies that deliver business and customer value.
  • The ability to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze complex issues, prioritizing business and customer needs effectively.
  • A capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment where tasks and topics vary, requiring quick adaptation and learning.
  • A passion for enhancing product quality and driving best practices throughout the organization.
