As a Principal Product Manager focusing on our Platform Strategy and Integration Experiences, your role will be pivotal in enabling our customers to maximize their productivity across all tools, including both Atlassian products and third-party applications.
Your responsibilities will also include simplifying the installation, configuration, and maintenance processes for Administrators.
We are open to considering candidates located in Australia, New Zealand, or the West Coast of the United States for this position.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize your expertise in product and platform management to thoroughly investigate complex and ambiguous issues, identify opportunities, and address significant challenges.
- Engage directly with Enterprise clients to gain insights into their requirements and develop relevant use cases.
- Collaborate with internal product managers and teams to gather customer needs and pain points.
- Articulate ambitious visions, integrating market demands and customer insights into cohesive narratives, and work collaboratively across Atlassian to implement solutions.
- Influence and coordinate efforts across the organization, from clients to developers and senior leadership.
- Delve into intricate problems and use cases related to automation platforms, integrations, and analytics.
You will report to the Head of Product.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in product management.
- A background in developing platform strategies and direct engagement with customers in a B2B Enterprise SaaS context.
- Consulting experience that involves direct customer interaction and translating requirements into actionable use cases and strategies.
- Extensive experience in product management, particularly in building integrations for large-scale platforms.
- A proven track record of defining and executing complex platform strategies that deliver business and customer value.
- The ability to understand complex issues both quantitatively and qualitatively, prioritizing business and customer needs effectively.
- Adeptness in a dynamic environment where tasks are diverse, requiring quick adaptation and learning.
- A passion for enhancing product quality and promoting best practices throughout the organization.

Our baseline compensation range is set above the typical market average, reflecting our expectations for hiring candidates near this baseline. Compensation within this range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, and experience.
For this role, our current compensation ranges for new hires in different geographic zones are as follows:
- Zone A: $190,400 - $253,800
- Zone B: $171,400 - $228,500
- Zone C: $158,000 - $210,700
