At SIMEDHealth, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Medical Office Coordinator to join our team. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing clinical and administrative support to our physicians, advanced care providers, and support staff members.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical support to physicians and advanced care providers, including vital signs, assisting with procedures, and other patient care duties.
  • Manage patient flow, coordinate schedules, and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Supervise and train new staff members, ensuring they are equipped to provide excellent patient care and administrative support.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA/CLIA and HIPAA regulations, providing training as needed.
  • Coordinate supply ordering, drug samples, and other administrative tasks.
  • Review charts to ensure accurate documentation and completion of tasks.
  • Assist with managerial functions, including staff evaluations and performance management.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalency required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software required.
  • Professional appearance, professional oral and written communication skills required.
  • AA/AS degree or higher preferred (experience may substitute for education).
  • Specialization in Medical Office Management preferred.
  • Minimum 3-5 years in a medical or hospital setting required.
  • Minimum 2-3 years in a supervisory role in a healthcare setting required.
  • Electronic health record experience required.
