Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Instructor of English as a Second Language (ESL) to join our faculty team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching ESL courses and contributing to the development of our ESL program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach ESL courses to students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and achievement.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve ESL curriculum and programs.
  • Participate in departmental and institutional committees to promote ESL initiatives and best practices.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in TESL, TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field.
  • California Community College Instructor Credential in ESL.
  • Experience teaching ESL courses to adult learners.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and dynamic environment.
