Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a key member of our Ground Support Equipment team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of our stationary equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on stationary equipment, including gearboxes, bearings, and shafts
  • Repair and replace components, including air filters, condensate pans, and indicator bulbs
  • Work with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues with equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; two-year degree in a related field preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in an industrial powered mechanical environment
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic disciplines
  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 70 pounds
  • Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of a two-year degree at a post-secondary technical school
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend technical documents and manuals
