Ground Maintenance Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Ground Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Delta Air Lines, Inc. As a Ground Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our ground support equipment, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on ground support equipment, including inspections, troubleshooting, and replacement of components.
- Assist Lead Ground Maintenance Technicians and other team members as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Complete data entry to record work assignments and communicate with other Delta personnel as required.
- 6 months of experience in a vehicle/heavy equipment maintenance environment.
- Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields as they apply to industrial powered systems.
- Ability to lift items weighing between 50 and 70 pounds.
- Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States.
- Proficiency in English and ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Detailed understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic subject areas.
- Ability to read and comprehend technical documents, manuals, and schematics.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
