Conflicts Resolution Specialist

Job Summary
Lewis Brisbois is seeking a skilled Conflicts Analyst to join our national Conflicts Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conflict resolution and excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct conflict checks for attorneys, secretaries, paralegals, and administration firm-wide
- Review potential conflict hits and eliminate obvious non-conflict hits
- Forward the reviewed and distilled search results to the requesting attorney and Conflicts Attorney for their review
- Monitor outstanding conflict searches and assist with the proper filing of completed and closed searches
- Research companies to determine subsidiary/parent and other relationships for conflicts purposes
- Provide general information and answer questions from attorneys and staff regarding the conflicts process
- Assist with conflicts database maintenance in order to provide consistent and accurate reporting
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent
- Minimum of one (1) year of conflicts experience in a law office environment, preferred
