Rural Psychiatry Associates Seeks Patient Scheduling Coordinator

Rural Psychiatry Associates is a leading provider of mental health services in rural and remote areas. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our team in our Grand Forks office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize a multi-phone line system to answer incoming calls and direct calls to appropriate staff or department.
  • Make appointment reminder calls and reschedule appointments as needed.
  • Utilize internal email and voicemail to relay messages to appropriate staff.
  • Greet patients, visitors, vendors, and mail carriers in a prompt and friendly manner.
  • Inquire about customers' needs, provide information and guidance as needed, and direct concerns appropriately.
  • Distribute patient satisfaction surveys to patients.
  • Distribute employment applications to prospective applicants.
  • Schedule appointments for patients and vendors using AdvancedMD database.
  • Print daily schedules and fee sheets.
  • Create and revise print materials, such as policies and forms, as needed.
  • Compose letters and emails from dictated messages as requested.
  • Complete mass mailings.
  • Prepare and distribute reports as requested.
  • Contact various vendors and merchants as requested for business needs.
  • Assist with the coordination of the clinic's provider schedule.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in the use of computers and various office equipment. A high school graduate or equivalent is required.
