We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Associate at Northwestern Energy. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, responding to their needs and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and addressing their concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Payment Processing: Process customer payments and post them in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Service Orders: Input and complete service orders, ensuring that all necessary information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Performance Standards: Meet or exceed performance standards, as determined by Northwestern Energy, including time spent at workstation and time engaged with customer interactions.
- Rate Changes and Bill Calculations: Explain rate changes and bill calculations to customers as necessary, ensuring that they understand their billing information.
- Credit Program Administration: Administer the credit program within prescribed scope, ensuring that customers are aware of their credit limits and any changes to their account.
- Emergency Situations: Respond to emergency situations professionally and accurately, following established policy and procedures.
- Teamwork: Work effectively in a team environment, collaborating with colleagues to ensure that customer needs are met and issues are resolved.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of customer and other confidential information, ensuring that sensitive data is protected.
- Union Payroll and Purchase Card Transactions: Ensure proper entry of union payroll for bi-weekly processing and proper coding and processing of purchase card transactions and AP invoices.
- SAP Functions and Data Entry: Support the new construction process through administrative SAP functions, payment processing, and service order creation, as well as assist with local permitting requirements and basic construction standards.
- Internal Requests and Work Across Business Units: Respond appropriately to internal requests and work across business units to ensure that processes and procedures are being upheld.
- Workload Analysis and Prioritization: Analyze and prioritize workload to ensure that all customer and business needs are met in a timely and appropriate manner.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Training: Successful completion of training program.
- Safety Record: Demonstrate and maintain a good safety record.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and other computer applications.
- Attendance: Excellent attendance record.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
