Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a designated sales route, engaging with approximately 50-55 retail locations weekly.
  • Identify and cultivate new business opportunities by focusing on strategic areas within the territory.
  • Present our product range to potential clients, highlighting both existing and new offerings.
  • Collaborate with distributor teams to ensure the effective execution of sales programs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in retail accounts to enhance sales performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and quality assurance across all sales channels.
  • Achieve sales targets and distribution goals as outlined in the regional strategy.
  • Organize and implement in-store promotions, tastings, and special events as required.
  • Oversee the execution of marketing initiatives within retail environments.
  • Conduct pricing audits to maintain competitive positioning in the market.
  • Develop new relationships with target accounts through effective sales techniques.
  • Maintain open communication with management to address and resolve any issues promptly.
  • Stay informed about our product offerings, market trends, and industry developments.
  • Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events relevant to the role.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience in the food or beverage sector, ideally within craft beverages.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales processes and initiatives with strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities, with a focus on clarity and effectiveness.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for achieving results.
  • Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification or higher is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary, including weekends, to meet with clients.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required.

Physical Requirements

This role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and engaging in activities that require standing, walking, and reaching.

Work Environment
