Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at La Clinica de La Raza. As a primary care provider, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities- Provide medical triage, care management, and patient education to a panel of patients
- Make referrals to specialty providers and follow-up to ensure patients' bio-psychosocial needs are addressed
- Deliver evidence-based care that supports improved health outcomes, exceptional patient experience, and efficient use of resources
- Prescribe medications, treatments, or therapies and order medical diagnostic or clinical tests
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team of providers to achieve optimal health outcomes for every patient
- Current license from the California Board of Registered Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or California Physician Assistant Committee (Physician Assistant)
- Graduation from an approved program of instruction in primary health care
- Board certification (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant)
- Valid California license and DEA
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Certificate
