Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital in Oakland, California. As an Advanced Practice Provider, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pediatric program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and specialty care to pediatric patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of medical conditions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Participate in on-call rotations, including evenings and weekends, to ensure 24/7 coverage.
  • Conduct patient evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to inform treatment decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Completion of a Physician Assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
  • Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of California.
  • Active American Heart Association BLS certification for healthcare providers.
  • Board certification or eligibility in a relevant specialty.
  • Experience in pediatric patient care, with a strong understanding of pediatric conditions and treatment options.
