Territory Sales Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team at IPEX.
This role is based in Dallas and reports to the National Sales Manager.
The primary objective of this position is to manage the sales territory and promote our CPVC pipe and fitting fire suppression business while meeting or exceeding our growth goals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing independent sales agents, networking with customers, and developing long-term relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and motivating local reps to achieve sales objectives
- Establishing sales objectives and monitoring progress
- Generating new business through existing and potential customer networks
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Obtaining favorable product specifications with local engineering firms
- Planning and allocating time and resources to ensure sales goals are met
- Tracking leads and project opportunities
- Managing regional pricing strategy
- Interacting with internal departments to provide technical presentations and on-site training
- Resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers in a timely manner
Qualifications and experience required include:
- College degree in engineering or business
- 3-5 years sales experience in the plumbing, industrial, or fire suppression industry
- Strong technical, analytical, negotiating, and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude
- Regular travel within the sales territory is required
