Regional Sales Manager

Job SummaryThe Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the sales territory and promoting our specifiable and traditional piping products with emphasis on our Multi Fittings waterworks product line in the Eastern Region.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and motivate local sales representatives to achieve sales objectives.
- Establish sales strategies and monitor progress.
- Generate new business opportunities through existing and potential customer networks.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Obtain favorable product specifications with local engineering firms.
- Plan and allocate resources to ensure sales goals are met.
- Track leads and project opportunities.
- Manage regional pricing strategy.
- Interact with internal departments to provide technical support and training.
- Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner.
- College degree in engineering or business.
- 3-5 years of sales experience in the municipal/waterworks industry.
- Strong technical, analytical, negotiating, and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software.
- Business acumen with a problem-solving attitude.
- Regular travel within the sales territory is required.
