Job Overview:
The Department of Radiology at the University of Florida College of Medicine-Jacksonville is seeking a dedicated Women's Imager with a strong academic focus for a non-tenure accruing position at the assistant level.

Role and Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a profound commitment to education and delivering exceptional care in women's imaging.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Diagnostic Radiology. The successful applicant will have completed a fellowship in Women's Imaging and must be eligible for a medical license in Florida.

Team Environment:
The candidate should be a collaborative team member, ready to integrate into a supportive group of professionals.

Practice and Facilities:
UF Health - Jacksonville stands as the sole university-based academic practice in Northeast Florida, with a subspecialized department. There are no night shifts required due to the presence of an overnight ED radiology division. An internal moonlighting evening shift is available for qualified faculty.


Our Women's Imaging program is expanding and includes advanced technologies such as digital mammography/tomosynthesis with AI, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided needle biopsies and seed localizations. We have a collegial group of fellowship-trained radiologists who support one another, fostering a high morale environment and promoting work-life balance.

We utilize state-of-the-art mammography and ultrasound equipment from leading manufacturers, including Hologic, Siemens, and GE, with AI support from iCAD Profound AI. Our MRI equipment is predominantly Siemens. Numerous academic and research opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality service in a friendly academic environment.
  • Mentor and train residents; our program welcomes 7 new residents annually.
  • Collaborate with a research team for those interested in scholarly activities.
  • Engage with colleagues across the breast service line through daily interactions and multidisciplinary meetings.

Compensation:
Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Minimum Requirements:
Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology, with fellowship training in Women's Imaging and eligibility for a Florida medical license.
