Position Overview

In this role, you will work under the guidance of a Radiologist and Supervisor to conduct advanced imaging procedures, specifically focusing on CT and X-ray diagnostics. This position requires a high level of technical expertise and independent decision-making skills to ensure accurate imaging results for patient assessments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and X-ray examinations with a focus on precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Utilize contrast agents appropriately and demonstrate knowledge of techniques for specific invasive imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accountability for the quality and safety of imaging processes in designated areas.
  • Provide care across a diverse patient demographic, from infants to the elderly.

Essential Qualifications

  • Licensure: Must possess a current ARRT certification.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED, with completion of an accredited ARRT program.
  • Experience: Prior experience in imaging is preferred, with a minimum of two years being advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate imaging equipment in accordance with established protocols and safety guidelines.

  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the training of new staff.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry weights up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking are required.
  • Visual acuity is essential for the operation of imaging equipment.

Work Environment

This position may involve exposure to potentially infectious materials, necessitating the use of appropriate personal protective equipment.
