About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team at UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group). As a key member of our sales organization, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead follow-up.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory with support from the field sales executives and management.
  • Utilize strong prospecting and business development skills to generate incremental revenue opportunities through outbound calling and lead generation.
  • Partner with the field sales team to promote UKG's business initiatives and enhance the customer or prospect's knowledge of UKG products, programs, and services.
  • Maintain expected metrics of outbound calls and targeted emails to increase the number of live conversations per day.
  • Provide qualified lead information to the field sales organization to assist in account progression or sales pipeline acceleration.
Requirements
  • 2+ years' professional experience as a BDR/SDR with strong outbound experience and one additional year of general professional experience.
  • 1 year of experience utilizing all pertinent social media tools to improve prospecting success.
  • Proficient in using Salesforce.com.
  • Able to work in an assigned UKG office three days a week.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the enterprise software industry, specifically HCM or Workforce Management.
  • Familiarity or certification in a common sales methodology.
