About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Russell Tobin & Associates. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing business needs and developing solutions to meet those needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track, report, and manage the status of project work to ensure timely completion and successful deployment.
  • Participate in project meetings and collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Monitor and document project milestones and outcomes to ensure successful project implementation.
  • Develop and implement contingency and recovery plans to mitigate risks and ensure project success.
  • Present clear and concise reports to senior leadership to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience working in a managed care company or health insurer, preferably in a business unit such as Product/Benefit management, Medical Management, or Appeals.
  • OR extensive project management experience using data and information to make business decisions.
  • 2+ years of experience with medical coding concepts, including CPT, HCPCS, ICD-9/10.
  • 2+ years of experience with project management tools and software, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • PMP Certification is an asset, but not required.
  • Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification is an asset, but not required.
