Cedars-Sinai Medical Center is seeking a Scientific Director to lead the Center for Research in Women's Health Science (CREWHS). This position will be responsible for mentoring junior researchers in women's health or sex differences research, with the goal of producing publications and securing additional grant funding.
The Scientific Director will manage the CREWHS annual RFA process, including evaluation and selection of research grants. They will also continue their own research, manage their research team, and retain funding.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
- Doctorate (MD or PhD or both) with three (3) or more years' experience in Women's Health research
- Evidence of research funding in women's health research
- National or international prominence with proven abilities as Principal Investigator and mentor
- Demonstrated ability in research mentoring
- Computer competency comprised of a working knowledge of Windows and/or a comparable operating system that sufficiently provides for access to patient and other business information

The base pay range shown takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including knowledge/skills, relevant experience and training, education/certifications/licensure, and other business and organizational factors.
Pay Range: $71,000 - $260,000 Base Compensation
