Therapeutic Skills Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Therapeutic Skills Specialist to join our team at Guiding Light Academy.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree/Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) and previous experience in designing and implementing therapeutic goals and objectives with students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and create Behavior Intervention Plans
• Train parents and other staff in effective methods for teaching new behaviors and eliminating aberrant behaviors
• Monitor student progress and adapt programming as needed
• Create meaningful goals and objectives for students and their IEP's
• Attend IEP's and team meetings
• Maintain neat student records, lesson plans, data, and progress reports
• Analyze data and report progress to teachers and parents
Requirements:
• Master's Degree/Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA)
• Previous experience in designing and implementing therapeutic goals and objectives
• Fluent and clear English skills
• Some Spanish skills preferred
• Ambulatory
