Job Summary

The Assistant Facilities Manager is a key role in ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of our facilities. This position is responsible for coordinating facility-related activities, ensuring all building systems function efficiently and safely, and supporting the Senior Facilities Manager in planning and executing facility improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations of facilities, ensuring all systems and equipment are functioning optimally.
  • Conduct regular inspections of building infrastructure to identify and resolve issues.
  • Assist in preparing budgets for facility operations, projects, and maintenance activities.
  • Manage access control systems, ensuring secure entry and exit for employees, visitors, and contractors.
  • Coordinate with security personnel to maintain a secure environment and respond to incidents as needed.
  • Assist and support the Office Support Service Team to ensure effective visitor management.
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies.
  • Optimize the use of space within the facility, including office layouts, storage areas, and common spaces.
  • Maintain accurate records of space allocations and occupancy levels.
  • Oversee the receiving, storage, and distribution of materials and supplies within the facility.
  • Assist in planning and executing facility-related projects, such as renovations, relocations, or new construction.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures for the facilities.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems.
  • Facilities management software proficiency.
  • Safety and compliance knowledge, including health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects, including scheduling and overseeing external contractors.
  • Strong attention to detail in tracking maintenance activities and managing facility operations.
  • Ability to prepare and present detailed reports on facility performance and project progress.
  • Clear and concise communication with contractors, vendors, employees, and leaders.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and handle urgent tasks as they arise.
What We Offer

GoodLeap offers a competitive salary range of $58,000 - $63,000 annually, a collaborative work culture, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
