About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at One Medical. As a key member of our office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless and exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Intake and Scheduling: Manage patient intake, same-day schedule management, and follow-up scheduling to ensure timely and efficient care.
  • Front Desk Operations: Handle all front-of-house duties, including check-in/check-out, insurance verification, printing/paperwork tasks, and prepping tests.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, participating in problem-solving, and supporting in-office providers with ad-hoc requests.
  • Technical Proficiency: Master our technology suite, including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and our Electronic Medical Record System, to interact with team members and patients and complete daily work.
  • Office Maintenance: Perform opening and closing duties, daily office upkeep, and maintain the look and feel of patient and employee-facing spaces.
Requirements
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in high-touch customer or patient-facing roles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Teamwork: Experience working on collaborative, diverse, and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Problem-Solving: A proven track record of persisting through change, demonstrating a forward-thinking perspective when under pressure, and consistently stepping up to take action on challenges.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer technology, including typing, navigating the internet, and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
