Payroll Data Entry Specialist

BNBuilders is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Data Entry Clerk to assist the payroll department in ensuring accurate and timely pay to our employees. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of duties, including entering accurate employee information and pay data, submitting new hire reports to the state, and processing employee verification of employment requests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily payroll department operations
- Enter accurate employee information and pay data
- Submit new hire reports to the state
- Process employee verification of employment requests
- Assist employees in registering for or resetting access to online pay stubs
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- Previous payroll experience preferred
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work under tight deadlines
- Should be able to deal with difficult, sensitive, and confidential issues
- Must have good customer service and overall understanding of accounting, exposure to management reporting systems
- Excellent organization skills, time management, and prioritization abilities
- Must be a team player with excellent communication skills
- Strong PC skills
- High degree of professionalism
- Ability for decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
