Event Project Manager - Focus on Decor & Design

Your Responsibilities:
  • Manage the decor and production aspects of high-profile corporate events from initial concept to execution, including client consultations to assess needs and budgets, designing, quoting, vendor coordination, and on-site management.
  • Develop floor plans, design stage setups, and liaise with venues for both internal and external event planning.
  • Conduct pre- and post-event meetings with clients and relevant departments to ensure all details are confirmed.
  • Oversee pre-planning and client timelines to ensure smooth execution of event specifics.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, warehouse, marketing, sales, and project management teams.
  • Work with the Production Manager to ensure adequate staffing for event setup and breakdown.
  • Participate in design reviews with internal teams, clients, and consultants.
  • Assist with load-in and load-out processes for events.
  • Act as the primary liaison on-site for clients and technical teams to uphold exceptional customer service standards.
  • Attend weekly meetings to provide updates on upcoming and past events as necessary.
  • Prepare and manage job costing to maintain budget efficiency.
Your Qualifications:
  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience in the events or hospitality sector.
  • A creative mindset with a passion for event planning.
  • Strong understanding of the event industry.
  • Proficient in budget creation and familiar with profit and loss statements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated management experience and natural leadership qualities.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Familiarity with Flex Software or a willingness to learn new software quickly.
  • Proficient with general office equipment.
  • A degree in hospitality or relevant experience is preferred.
