In the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will care for diverse surgical and cardiovascular patient populations.
As a Registered Nurse (RN), your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct nursing care to patients.
- Developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Monitoring and documenting patients' health status.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff to execute care plans.
- Assessing patients' discharge requirements.
- Providing education to patients and their families.
Minimum qualifications for candidates include:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- A minimum of one year of acute care RN experience; military RN experience may be considered.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform a full range of motion, including lifting and handling patients.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Corrected vision and hearing within normal ranges.

- Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Adherence to standard precautions and use of personal protective equipment as required.
