Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team. As a MICU RN, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in the MICU, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, update, and revise patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor, record, document, and communicate patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments, and note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
  • Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs, and educate patients and their families on post-discharge care.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • One year of current acute care RN experience, or licensed military RN experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Physical Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be able to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and move patients, and work in a fast-paced environment with high levels of stress and irregular hours.
