Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit team at Cleveland Clinic Weston Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients with complex medical conditions, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care, including ordering lab tests, consulting with specialists, and communicating with family members.
- Monitor and document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for changes in care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care.
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- One year of current acute care RN experience, with a focus on intensive care unit nursing.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
