Role Overview: Lead Sales (Key Holder)
As a Lead Sales Associate, you will empower customers to express their individuality through their home decor. Your role will be pivotal in bringing our brand to life, facilitating product discovery that aligns with their entertaining needs. You will drive sales by fostering connections and cultivating lasting relationships with our clientele.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create memorable experiences for customers by sharing your expertise in home enhancement.
- Support the management team with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, register functions, and back-office tasks.
- Supervise store activities to ensure financial targets are met and that associates deliver exceptional service.
- Maintain visual standards, cleanliness, and safety protocols during your shifts.
- Serve as a role model for sales associates, prioritizing customer experience and sales generation.
- Foster a respectful and inclusive environment for all associates, adhering to our People First Philosophy.
Qualifications:
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Proven track record of motivating and influencing team members through personal actions.
- 1-3 years of retail sales experience, with a preference for supervisory roles.
- 1-2 years of experience in home design, visual merchandising, or stockroom management is advantageous.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate safety techniques.
- Full-time associates should have flexible availability to meet business needs.
- Part-time associates must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week, including weekend shifts.
