Role Overview: Lead Sales (Key Holder)
In this position, you will motivate customers to personalize their living spaces. You will embody our brand, facilitating customers' discovery of products that enhance their entertaining experiences. Your role will be pivotal in driving sales by fostering connections and cultivating lasting relationships with our brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Craft memorable experiences for customers by sharing your expertise in home enhancement.
- Support the management team with daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, register functions, and back-office tasks.
- Supervise to ensure the store achieves financial targets while associates deliver exceptional service to our guests.
- Maintain store standards in visual presentation, cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency during your shifts.
- Exemplify the Selling Captain role, serving as a model for sales associates in customer service and sales generation.
- Foster an environment where all associates are treated with fairness, dignity, and respect, in line with our People First Philosophy.
Qualifications
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Proven track record of motivating and influencing others through personal actions and examples.
- 1-3 years of retail sales experience, with a preference for those with supervisory experience.
- 1-2 years of experience in home design, visual merchandising, or stockroom duties preferred (specialty retail experience is a plus).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods.
- Capability to lift and move medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., using appropriate equipment and safety measures.
- Full-time associates should have flexible availability to meet business needs.
- Part-Time Flex associates must be available for a minimum of 15 hours per week, including two weekend shifts and two weekday shifts.
