The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 based on experience.


Responsibilities

As the Campus Sustainability Director, you will be responsible for promoting sustainability initiatives across the campus, managing numerous compliance-related programs in environmental health and safety, and establishing a strong culture of sustainability within the university community.


  • Collaborate with the Laudato Si' Implementation Committee on Sustainability to develop and implement campus-wide sustainability initiatives.
  • Conduct risk management assessments and safety educational programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory agencies.
  • Maintain all EHS documentation for the university and ensure all reporting is in compliance.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Business from an accredited college or university. Demonstrable experience working in a regulated industry with some project management experience is required.


  • Professional certifications in Engineering, Risk Management, or Sustainability are preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
