Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at Nebraska Spine + Pain Center Careers. As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic, providing exceptional patient care, and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient care activities, including scheduling appointments, preparing examination rooms, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as data entry, billing, and insurance verification.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical history, medications, and test results.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and effective care coordination.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a patient care coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
