Veterinary Hospital Operations Manager

As the Administrative Director for Veterinary Services at the Atlanta Humane Society and Society, you will oversee the daily operations of our veterinary hospital, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and exceptional client service. This role requires a strong leader who can manage finances, marketing, and staffing to support effective business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personnel, client, and office operations, including interviewing, training, and developing staff.
- Perform performance evaluations, monitor employee competence, and ensure compliance with operational policies.
- Oversee client flow, manage marketing, and provide excellent customer service.
- Administer and review non-medical client complaints, maintain the hospital's cleanliness, and ensure safety procedures are implemented.
- Manage financial budgets, oversee collections, and review transactions for accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum of three years' experience in a similar operations management capacity, with profit and loss responsibility.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, deal with stress, and work extended hours as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Performs work in an office setting.
- Potentially subject to animal bites and scratches.
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and stooping.
- Must be able to handle, restrain, and lift large animals.
