Veterinary Hospital Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Service Representative to join our dynamic team at Brookhaven Animal Hospital. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our veterinary hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Client Interaction: Greet clients warmly and professionally, manage incoming calls, schedule appointments, and address inquiries about services, pet care, and hospital policies.
- Appointment Management: Coordinate the scheduling of veterinary appointments for routine exams, surgeries, and emergency visits, ensuring optimal use of the veterinarians' time.
- Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories, vaccination schedules, and client contact information, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with veterinary regulations.
- Payment Processing: Handle transactions with accuracy, processing payments for services rendered, and discussing financial options with clients as needed.
- Client Education: Provide clients with information regarding pet care, vaccination schedules, and post-treatment instructions, fostering an understanding of veterinary services and recommendations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and other staff members to facilitate effective communication and enhance the overall client and patient experience.
- Problem Resolution: Address client concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism, seeking to resolve issues efficiently and maintain a positive atmosphere.
- Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining the front desk area and ensure that promotional materials and pet care products are stocked and well-presented.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a client service role, preferably within a veterinary hospital or related field, with familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and staff.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using veterinary practice management software, Microsoft Office, and basic office equipment.
