Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with appointments, prepping patients for surgery, and minor procedures.
  • Restrain animals safely and efficiently.
  • Obtain accurate vitals, medical histories, and note changes in patient condition.
  • Collect and prepare laboratory samples.
  • Care and maintain medical equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient updates and questions.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling.
  • Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Pay range: $16-$18/hour based on experience.
