Veterinary Care Specialist

- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with appointments, prepping patients for surgery, and minor procedures.
- Restrain animals safely and efficiently.
- Obtain accurate vitals, medical histories, and note changes in patient condition.
- Collect and prepare laboratory samples.
- Care and maintain medical equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding patient updates and questions.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling.
- Strong communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Pay range: $16-$18/hour based on experience.
