Job Overview

Accountants One is seeking a highly motivated Tax Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing sales compliance paper returns, analyzing trends, and ensuring accurate matching before preparing them for mailing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Scan and upload notices and documents received from jurisdictions.
  • Log notices into client accounts and analyze trends.
  • Manage sales compliance paper returns, including time-sensitive tax returns.
  • Conduct a monthly check of paper returns to ensure accurate matching.
  • Deliver updated return packages to PaperHost promptly.
  • Assist in data quality initiatives such as data audits.

Requirements:

  • Previous exposure to sales and use tax is preferred but not required.
  • New grads are welcome, although no degree is required.
