Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our Agile team dedicated to building and improving our modern web platform. As a key member of our technology team, you will collaborate with stakeholders to develop new modules and applications for our SaaS platform, maintain and enhance our existing web applications, and deliver end-to-end solutions from product inception to launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the technology team and stakeholders to develop new modules and applications for our SaaS platform.
  • Maintain and enhance our existing web applications.
  • Understand our business domains to make informed choices for solution development.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions, from product inception to launch.
  • Participate in full-stack code and architecture reviews.
  • Contribute to a strong engineering culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of professional full-stack experience in an agile team environment using JavaScript, PHP, Python, SQL, HTML, CSS, and/or SASS.
  • Experience developing SPA using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue, React).
  • Experience writing unit tests.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience through coding bootcamp.
  • Enjoy problem-solving, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate impeccable attention to detail.
  • Willingness and desire to keep up with new web technologies, languages, standards, practices.
  • Proficiency with Git.
  • Proficiency with API development using REST/GraphQL.

Nice-to-Haves

  • NodeJS microservice experience is a plus.
  • Experience building interactive and dynamic map-centric applications leveraging mapping APIs (e.g. Google Maps, Mapbox).
  • Experience creating custom data visualizations (e.g. Highcharts, D3.js, SVG).
  • Comfortable developing in Linux/Docker environment.
  • Experience with Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Puppeteer.
  • Experience with Laravel.
  • Experience with state management (e.g. Vuex, Redux).
  • AWS and DevOps experience.
  • Experience in Python.
