We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Design Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the development of advanced RF systems, including transmitters, receivers, and exciters.
Key Responsibilities- Design and optimize RF circuits, including chains of components and individual parts such as filters, limiters, and couplers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including power, digital, and mechanical engineers.
- Provide technical support during the transition to production and support to production activities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RF system design and technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years' experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Experience with Microwave/RF system, subsystem, and/or component analysis, design, and/or test.
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as MATLAB.
- U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance required post-start.
- Experience translating system performance and operation specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications.
- Background in designing for manufacturability, producibility, and cost constraints, including yield and margin analysis.
- Experience in technical/proposal writing and oral presentations.
