The Director on Duty will be responsible for the overall supervision of the YMCA building and grounds, ensuring that all staff and volunteers follow safety standards and policies. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining a workplace free from all forms of harassment and ensuring that all staff adhere to policies and procedures related to abuse risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise staff and volunteers to ensure compliance with safety standards and policies
  • Maintain a workplace free from all forms of harassment
  • Ensure that all staff adhere to policies and procedures related to abuse risk
  • Respond quickly to policy and procedure violations using the organization's progressive disciplinary procedures
  • Communicate to all staff the organization's commitment to protect their youth from abuse
Requirements
  • One or more years of experience in facility management or a closely related field
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications required
  • Ability to respond to safety and emergency situations
  • Must be able to pass a Nationwide Criminal and Sex Offender Registry Background Screening
